Erg (Concept 2) Seats
Atlantic Challenge Seats
Aiming to bring a touch of colour and fun to the rowing world we all love so much!
So this is me, Lis Harden, roving rower originally from Lyme Regis, sometimes Bridport, and with sojourns at a number of others along the way.
Footcuffs started a few years ago, when I was asked by a friend to make something to keep their feet firmly on the stretcher whilst rowing a gig. I'm a seamstress by trade, so got a bit creative with the 25mm webbing, and then, as a giggle, embroidered his name on it in chain stitch - like your mum used to on your PE bag.
A couple of boys in his boat saw it and wanted one too. Then they became colourful. After that came the unicorns. Then the sparkle. And it all has kind of gone from there...
This website shows what I make at the moment but I'm always up for a challenge and love designing practical things so if you can't find it here and you've got an idea - drop me a line anyway!
Rowing stretcher straps
Made to measure in the colours of your choice, with your name hand embroidered.
Again with the choice of colours, size and hand embroidered name, but with additional sparkles and machine-made applique.
For those that like to keep their feet apart, this cuff has boning in the middle to hold them at your desired space.
If you really like to straddle (or need stirrups in 1!) this is the way forward. A pair of 'cuffs, one for each foot, that you can set as far apart as you desire...
Pamper your rear...
Seat made from marine PVC or canvas fabric, with medium or hard density foam cushion (or a combination of both). Choice of colours and fixings. Machine embroidery for £5 per end additional charge.
Something to make Satan's fitness tool a little more comfy! Colours of your choice, with hand embroidered message on the rear. Rubber grips and elastic underneath to ensure no slippage, even when you're giving it some large on that HIIT session (or the 10k you know you really ought to do...)
For those who feel the urge to row an ocean! These seats have no external straps to cut down on the chafe risk, and are reversible so can be flipped when one side gets wet. Tailored to fit your particular craft.
All Goods are subject to additional postage and packing costs
